Sailing LessonsAn opportunity to learn and enhance sailing skills at the same time spend fun a day sailing. Children’s Sailing lessons are available for Members and Non members. (Conditions apply).
Ages Activity8 plus to 11 Optibat and optimists at the same time as The basis which boat a child should sail is predominantly down to their weight and the instructor’s advice. Minimum requirements:

We are happy to be able to offer the following sailing courses:
Sunday 11am – 1pm – Ladies Intermediate Laser Sailing in Laser 4.7 – Suitable for ladies who have done some basic sailing – 6 places available – AED1800 per person
Tuesday 3:30pm – 5:30pm Intermediate Optimist Sailing – 8yrs – 12 yrs – Suitable for children who have some basic sailing – 4 places available – AED1500 per person
Wednesday 3:30pm – 5:30pm Beginners Optimist Sailing – 8yrs – 12yrs – For the complete beginner – 6 places – AED 1500 per person
Thursday 11am – 1pm – Ladies Beginners Sailing in Laser 4.7 – For the complete beginner – 6 places AED 1800 per person
Thursday 3pm – 5pm – Cadet Club – 8yrs to 16yrs – a fun sailing session - either sailed in Laser 4.7 or optimist depending on demand – AED 1000 per person
Saturday 2pm – 4pm – Adult Beginners Sailing - Laser – For the complete beginner – AED 1800 per person - FULL
All courses are taught by Mike White, an RYA qualified Senior Instructor. The courses are made up of 6 sessions over 6 weeks for two hours each session with boats and buoyancy aids provided and DIMC certificates awarded at the end of the completed course.
